Luna ("Luna", "we", "us") helps job seekers find roles, build résumés, and prepare for interviews. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It applies to the Luna website and web app.

Who we are

Information we collect

• Account data: your email address and authentication details (via email/password or Google sign-in).
• Profile & onboarding answers: your role interests, experience, education, skills, location, and similar details you provide.
• Résumé & career content: résumé text you write, upload, or generate; LinkedIn text you paste; job descriptions you tailor against; saved application-tracker entries.
• Usage data: basic product events (e.g. pages viewed, features used) and technical data such as browser type and approximate region.

How we use your information

• To provide the service — generate and edit résumés, match you to roles, tailor to jobs, and prepare interview and LinkedIn materials.
• To operate AI features. Your relevant content is sent to our AI provider (see below) to produce suggestions. We do not sell your data.
• To save your work across devices and keep you signed in.
• To understand product usage in aggregate and improve Luna.
• To communicate with you about your account (e.g. confirmation and password-reset emails).

AI processing

Luna uses Anthropic to power its AI features. Content you submit to AI features is transmitted to Anthropic solely to generate your results. AI output may contain errors and is provided for your review — you are responsible for the final content of your résumé and applications.

Service providers we share data with

• Supabase — authentication and database storage of your account and content.
• Anthropic — AI text generation.
• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions.
• Google — if you choose "Continue with Google" sign-in.
• PostHog — product analytics, if enabled.

Each provider processes data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.

Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage and essential cookies to keep you signed in and store your working data. We do not use advertising cookies.

Data retention

We keep your account and content while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting lunatechapp@gmail.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at lunatechapp@gmail.com.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children

Luna is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date.
